Dining at the Savoy

Savoy cabbages are one of my favourites, so I’m rather distressed to find my beauties have had an attack of the dreaded caterpillars!

I’ve done my very best to protect them from slugs, snails and Cabbage White butterflies, the latter somehow managing to lay some eggs despite netting being in place.

Hey ho. I pick off as many as I can find, and leave them in an exposed place for a passing robin or blackbird.
