A nice cup of tea & a Biscuiteer

Gardening wouldn’t be the same without a nice cup of tea and a biscuit.

So imagine how impressed I was to receive this amazing personalised green fingers biscuit tin to try, from British biscuit-crafters, Biscuiteers! An assortment of iced biscuits arrived, beautifully packaged, in a re-usable tin box. Once all the biscuits are eaten (in, ooh, about 5 minutes?) I think I’ll use it for seeds.

It’s my mum’s 80th birthday coming up and, as she is a keen vegetable grower, I think a box of these would cheer her up no end.

Mum is still suffering with a painful attack of shingles which, 6 months in, is showing no sign of healing and seems to have no cure. It has made her particularly grumpy of late and a bit depressed to boot.

My mum is notoriously difficult to give presents to at the best of times. She just doesn’t want them. Gloves, scarves, vases or other ‘clutter’ stay unused in their tissue and disappear to the back of her bottom drawer (only to be presented back to you at Christmas). She doesn’t want a party either. If there was one thing I could give her it would be a sunny day, without pain, back out in her garden.

But biscuits? Oh yes. Everyone loves a special biscuit… especially grumpy gardeners.

These biscuits are really delicious and, despite all the icing, not too sweet. They also do gluten-free options. Click on the offer image below to visit the website, learn more, and get £5 off your first Biscuiteers order.Biscuiteer Baking Company
